Log Into the ShipStation App

Access the ShipStation application to begin the setup process.

Connect your Shopline Store to the App

Follow the standard Private App Installation Process provided by Shopline in the Admin Backend. Click 'Stores' in the Menu on the App and then Click 'Shopline Dashboard'. Click 'Connect' and follow the instructions to create a Private App in Shopline and enter the required data points.

Create the App on Shopline

Login to your Shopline store admin and copy the subdomain <subdomain>.myshopline.com from your browser and paste it to the 'Your Store URL' field. From your Shopline admin, go to Apps, click 'Develop apps', enable development if it's your first app, and create an app. Enter the app name and select an app developer. Configure permissions and create webhooks as specified.

Install the App

Navigate to the 'API Certificate' tab and click the 'Install App' button. Retrieve the Admin API access token, app key, and app secret, and paste them into the corresponding fields on your ShipStation Dashboard.

Connect your ShipStation Account to the App

Go to the ShipStation Website and login: https://signin.shipstation.com/. Access My Profile – API Keys to get or create a set of API Keys. On the App, go to Account > ShipStation Account, then add the API Key from your ShipStation Login.

Configure your ShipStation Account

As a default, your Shopline Order will show up under 'Manual Orders' in ShipStation until you have added a Shopline Store on ShipStation. Go to My Profile, then Selling Channels > Store Setup > Connect a Store. Search for 'shipstation' and click it. Name the Store 'Shopline Store'. Within 48 hours, the changes will take effect.

App: Wait for Orders to come in

Go to 'Orders'. Once orders are coming into the app, they are ready to be sent to ShipStation and will be sent there within 24 hours.

ShipStation: Process an Order to get Tracking Information

Your orders will appear on your Shopline Store TAB in ShipStation. Mark a test order as shipped, and the tracking information will be populated back into your Shopline Store. The first time this might take 4-24 hours.
